De Mâcon-Charnay-les-Mâcon is een 100% Chardonnay zonder houtrijping. De druiven komen van jonge wijnstokken en de wijn is mooi droog en heeft frisse fruitaroma's met  lengte en expressiviteit. Een heerlijk glas wijn, verfijnd en elegant. 

Domaine Gilles Guerrin is gelegen in de Bourgogne, in Vergisson, midden in het hart van de crus van de Mâconnais. Dit kleine dorp ligt tussen de beroemde rotsen van Vergisson en Solutré. De wijnstokken van Mâcon-Charnay-lès-Mâcon groeien op zonnige hellingen tussen Tournus en Chaintré, in een warm klimaat met ca. 850 mm regen per jaar. De bodem bestaat uit kalksteen, mergel en alluviale afzettingen, ideaal voor verfijnde Chardonnay.

Sylvie en Gilles, vestigden zich hier in 1984. Vandaag de dag bewerken zij 13,5 hectare wijngaarden, verdeeld over vier appellaties: Mâcon-Charnay-les-Mâcon, Mâcon-Vergisson, Saint-Véran en Pouilly-Fuissé. Sinds juli 2017 werkt een van hun dochters, Blandine, met hen mee om de continuïteit van het domein in de toekomst te waarborgen.
