Partnering with Shyam Ji Bhai from Bhuj, Gujarat, an 11th-generation artisan from a family of Padma Shree awardees, we have created this exquisitely handmade piece. Crafted with immense care, this piece undergoes a time-intensive process where colors are extracted from natural dyes, three colors of yarn are handspun, and the fabric is handwoven. It also comprises hand block printing on the lining by 4th-generation artisan Pankaj Ji. Every element is handmade, showcasing our commitment to sustainable practices with zero electricity consumption. The natural dyes used also offer the unique benefit of keeping the body temperature cooler than the outside temperature, adding to the exceptional qualities of this piece.
