Spring HillSpring Hill was painted in oil on linen by Monte Dolack on location in 1985 at the foothills of the Bridger Mountains in Bozeman Montana. The painting was later finished in the studio while retaining the spontaneous impasto brushwork from the plein aire painting experience. The painting is not yet framed allowing the collector to choose their own frame but the 2 inch deep sides of the canvas are painted allowing it to be displayed without a frame.
