High-quality Spektrum electronics are installed and ready for 2S or 3S LiPo power. On a 2S LiPo, the GRANITE 223S BLX 4X4 reaches 35+ mph top speeds. Move up to 3S when you want more - and unleash the truck’s full 50+ mph potential!
You don’t have to compromise between price and performance. Even on a 2S battery, the speed of this affordable monster truck matches or even beats the best that higher-cost 2S bashers from other manufacturers can do. As you gain experience, you can easily boost the speed potential without needing expensive option parts or a whole new basher.
You decide how fast your GRANITE 223S BLX 4X4 will go based on your battery choice and where you set the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter’s throttle limiting switch. Throttle limiting puts the ceiling for top speed at a level you prefer until you want to amp it up higher. With the switch set to 50% or 75%, you’ll never worry about going faster than you can safely control. You’ll make the transition from 2S to 3S speeds with total confidence.
The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) built into the monster truck’s Spektrum electronics offers another big advantage, and not just for brushless beginners. With four selectable modes, DSC can automatically correct steering input as needed to improve your control and confidence on any surface. Just turn off the DSC whenever you want to rely only on your own skills.
Factory assembled and installed, the heavy-duty, metal gear differentials send power from the Spektrum 3100Kv brushless motor to all four wheels for bashing on dirt, gravel, or short grass. Set up ramps or build a few dirt mounds to grab some air without worrying about the landing - an independent suspension and oil-filled shocks soak up bumps. Extended height side guards on the strong composite chassis combine with the close-fitting body to keep dirt and debris out of the chassis tub. When maintenance is needed, the hidden clipless body retention system allows quick, easy chassis access.

DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)
Built into the included Spektrum electronics, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) gives newcomers another edge while learning how to control high-speed brushless power. With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically apply steering corrections to improve your control, confidence, and safety on any surface. As you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and use the skills you’ve learned.

The high-quality Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter has features designed to help all drivers succeed. Throttle Limiting is just one example. Whether you’re using 2S or 3S power, Throttle Limiting enables you to learn control skills safely by limiting the truck’s maximum available speed to 50% or 75% until you’re ready for it all.
