A & C Port USB Charging For 12V And 24VDC Applications

The PowerVerter PVPro Range of USB chargers has been completely updated into the A & C Range amalgamating all the great design concepts of USB charging into one simple range. Models are now available offering both USB A and C connections including Single and Double A as well as Single C and a combined Dual A & C output version.

As well as standard rear fit version all models are also available in front fit versions. This is a popular option for when rear space access is limited and also allows for quick removal and replacement if required. Ingress protection is to IP30 as standard. However the PVPWp versions retain the slimline design and offer enhanced protection to IP65 (not connectors). The ruggedised PV65R versions which are also IP65 (not connectors) offer additional transient protection and are particularly suitable in more demanding environments.

Output power performance has also been enhanced. As well as charging both Apple and Android mobile phones the USB C models offer higher current outputs for limited charge assistance on tablets and laptops.

Standard versions require only 20mm (typical) rear space and can easily be installed in bus and coach seat backs walls and dashboards. A series of installation pod designs enable retrofit options for underseat table and wall mounting.

The Range

All units are installed through a 30mm hole. Standard format units are retained by a rear nut while the front fit versions include a bezel with tamperproof cover ring. Input power is by way of two 6.3mm push-in flat fit automotive terminals.

Dimensionally the A and C Chargers are the same and are interchangeable with the ever-popular PVPro Range. Electronically the designs include reverse polarity protection and automatic short circuit protection so in the event of tampering or compromise the unit will shut down then restart again once the fault has been removed.

Warranty

The PVPro A and C range of chargers are manufactured using rugged components to provide years of service in demanding commercial environments and are covered by a three year return to base guarantee.

First off, let me say wow! When I received this, I didn’t expect much because of the price, but I am blown away with the care that was given in the packaging alone, the simplicity of putting it together with the detailed yet brief instruction page, and the ability to put this together with one person. Took me less than 40mins. Highly recommend!!! And in fact, I’m purchasing another one right now as I’m sitting here rocking in my new beautiful chair. UPDATE: a lot of negative reviews are basically user error. To attach the wheels, to snap on, I used a rubber (not metal) mallet to tap them in. To the leveling review, you have one arm on backwards. To the screw passing through, you may be correct but double check you didn’t use the required screws elsewhere. And the person saying it doesn’t recline, you have to release the lock - pull the up and down lever out and away from the seat. Good luck all! Bought a second one - same thoughts as above. Pretty awesome chair.

Pros: Simple Assembly: It took less than 45 minutes to build. The instructions are straightforward, and all necessary tools are included. Getting the armrests aligned takes a bit of finagling, but it's manageable. Appearance & Shipping: It arrived well-packaged with no damage. It has a sleek, modern look that adds a great aesthetic to an office space, and the height adjustment works perfectly. Cons: Lack of Support: The comfort level falls short. At 5'11", I found the back offers no lumbar support, and the backrest isn't tall enough to serve as a headrest. Disappointing Armrests: The armrests are mostly metal with a thin, flimsy layer of faux leather. If you live in a colder climate or a poorly insulated home, the metal frames get quite cold to the touch. Limited Padding: The seat cushion is minimal. After about 3 hours of sitting, it starts to feel very firm and uncomfortable. Verdict: You ultimately get what you pay for. I would not recommend this as a primary desk chair for an 8-hour workday. However, it is an affordable, sharp-looking option if you just need a decorative accent piece, a guest chair, or budget-friendly seating for a conference room.

Seller Stall Tactics

My chair arrived last Wednesday, but I only assembled it today. It looks overwhelming as you take all of the pieces out of the box, but it is straightforward to assemble. Took me less than 45 minutes start to finish. Assembled, the chair is really nice. Many reviews talk about the incessant squeaking. I'm guessing it has to do with how they assembled the chair. Mine does not make a sound. The seat is very firm, it may be uncomfortable for some people; I'll have a better idea after I use it for awhile. I gave it 4 stars because the plastic lever to raise/lower the chair, the underside broke off in 3 pieces! Fortunately I was able to fit the pieces back, and used liquid Gorilla Glue all over the broken seams. So far it's holding up well. Visually the chair is beautiful. UPDATED 6/1/20 - I originally gave this chair 4 stars. As you can see in my original post, I took one star off for a crucial piece that was broken inside the box. I read reviews where customers who experienced issues were not getting assistance from the seller. I am now in that same issue. After I initially e-mailed the seller regarding a replacement part for that one piece, they are repeatedly e-mailing me asking me is this part broken, is that part also broken. My last e-mail to them stated that I have explained the issue in detail multiple times and if I am sent one more e-mail asking if another part is broken, I will know this is a stall tactic. I have an e-mail this morning asking if the gas lift is broken. I've contacted Amazon to contact the seller with the understanding that if they stall Amazon as well, a request will be made for a full refund. I am NOT the one to play with when it comes to shady customer service. If I could give negative stars based on the seller alone, I would.
