The night is pierced by a single voice, ringing as clear as crystal between Kiruna and Trelleborg. It belongs to the Swedish singer-songwriter Kristoffer Bolander, whose second solo album is being released by the Hamburg-based label Tapete. What Never Was Will Always Be offers compelling evidence of his accession to the European elite of alternative songwriters. Moving beyond the typical spectrum of alternative folk as heard on Bolander's 2015 debut I Forgive Nothing (TR 325CD/LP), the sophomore album represents a significant evolution in sound. The wonderfully delicate, high-pitched voice of the Swedish singer is framed beautifully by his excellent band, at times quietly focused, at others ramping up distorted guitars and visceral drums. But what really makes the atmosphere of What Never Was Will Always Be unique is the introduction of electronic elements. From gentle synth pads, reminiscent of Brian Eno soundscapes, to dry, pulsating electro drums, with flashes of arpeggios. The songs range from the epic über-hit "Cities" to danceable synth pop numbers like "Animals" and classic folk tunes such as "True Romance" which features Kristoffer Bolander's voice accompanied only by an acoustic guitar. The album is a panoply of small worlds, every song occupying it's own sonic dimension, produced to perfection. Add in Bolander's unique lyrical qualities and an extraordinary mood develops, his words falling like mantras from the future, with tales of lost cities and life-changing romances. The new components gently shift the music away from the tried and trusted folk album biotope into a forward-looking electro folk pop sphere. Kristoffer Bolander took care of all the arrangements by himself and Daniel Johansson, renowned for his work with the likes of Grammy winner Tommy Black, was on production duties. Together, the pair created a distinctive sound for each individual song. Bolander and Johansson's meticulous attention to detail shines through the array of instrumentation so masterfully deployed on the record, perfectly complemented by Bolander's expressive voice. LOVE this tough toy! My teething puppy is still enjoying it!

LOVE the hedgehog! Very tough! My dachshund has not been able to chew off any of the 'nubs', and does she try! lol The only thing is, the first thing she did was chew off the nose, but I discarded it and watched her closely to make sure she didn't chew off any more, and no, its still being chewed on.
Wish I could find more toys like this one!!

This Cool Teething Stick has been the absolute best first toy for our 1.5 pound puppy! It’s incredibly lightweight, making it easy for even the tiniest pups to pick up, carry, and play with independently.
The soft crinkle sound keeps him entertained without being overwhelming, and the little ribbon ends plus the triangular shapes add just the right amount of texture and interest.
For the quality, design, and how much joy it brings, the price is unbeatable. At $4.99, this is an easy must-buy for anyone with a young or very small puppy. Highly recommend for a tiny puppy. I do think the durability could be an issue for a large puppy. Keep in mind this puppy is under 2 pounds.

Good size for my pug!

I love how it’s a good size for my pug it is easy for her to play around with. I had stuffed animals for her to play around with but it looked so silly to watch her play with something that is 10 times as big as her 😂. I had to buy her these toys and she seemed so happy when she first got them.
It was so funny and interesting that she had to chew all three toys and decide which one she liked. At first she decided to play with the rope toy and she liked the rope toy, then she got curious with the rubber toys. She has decided that the rubber toys are her favorite and I’ve tried to engage with playing with her with the rope toy. She gets more interactive with the rubber toys! She also looked so relieved while chewing them so that’s a plus!

Dog loved, started to break down after 10 minutes.

I don’t know why it’s so difficult to find a quality teething toy that won’t begin to break down within (in this case) the first 10 minutes. I have a 17lb, 5 mos old Bernedoodle and she’d broken two pieces off the snout in 10 minutes and tried eating them. Yeah, yeah, they’d most likely pass - but this shouldn’t happen with a product specifically sold as a dog chew toy and listed for teething. On the plus side, she loves it - but I can’t obsessively monitor her every second of her teething either. Hit with the dog, frustrating for the ‘parent’.
