What is a catch can and why do you need one? The factory recirculates crankcase air back into the intake. This air contains oil, moisture and other combustion byproducts which contaminates the air that is being fed to the turbocharger. The oil and water infused air coats the turbocharger compressor blades, charge tubes, intercooler and intake valves. If you don't have a turbo on your Defender, it can also still change the air/fuel ratio and lower the effective octane of the mixture being introduced into the cylinder resulting in lost performance. Oil has a very low knock threshold, therefore the more oil contained in the incoming air, the lower the effective knock protection of whatever fuel is being used.

Since we never rest on our success, the new-and-improved EVP Catch Can was redesigned specifically to combat and eliminate the issues described above whether upgrading your HD10 with an EVP Defender Turbo System (highly recommended) or pushing your stock Defender to the max. Our CNC-machined billet aluminum separator mounts to the frame rail above the clutch housing. The OEM crankcase vent hose is simply rerouted to the new location for significantly improved performance.

The EVP Billet Catch Can also features an all-new redesigned internal baffle with a perforated stainless steel cylinder plus additional steel screening to help the oil-infused vapors condensate correctly. This allows the oil to separate from the mixture and also prevents it from further syphoning out, letting the vapor escape via the filter for improved overall performance.

All EVP Air/Oil Separator Catch Can kits also include a high-quality filter element, pre-filter, and now come equipped with a new petcock-style draining valve at the bottom for clean periodic emptying of the contaminants. Emptying the excess contents is now quicker, hassle free, and will leave zero mess on you or your surroundings ‚Äî a great new feature of the updated EVP Catch Can design.

A silicone cap is supplied to block off the port on the intake boot where the OEM breather hose is connected. All hardware is stainless steel and the body of the separator is powder coated black. The billet cap can be clocked in 45-degree increments to allow virtually any installation orientation. Not only that, because the cap is removable, the catch can can be disassembled if desired to fully clean out the contents.

NEW-AND-IMPROVED FEATURES:

  • Body/canister features an integrated perforated stainless steel baffle to further prevent oil syphoning back out
  • Additional stainless steel screen packing for enhanced air/oil vapor separation
  • New petcock-style release valve for hassle-free periodic draining with zero mess

ORIGINAL/ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

  • Entire body including frame mount is machined from a solid block of 6160-T6 aluminum with no welding to crack or break
  • Simple, easy installation
  • Shipped ready for mounting on the X3 frame, however, the billet cap can be rotated in 45-degree increments to allow virtually any other mounting location
  • Anodized black with stainless hardware
  • Designed for the Can Am X3
  • Reuses OEM crankcase vent hose - no additional fittings to mess with
  • Prevents oil and moisture from contaminating the turbo compressor, charge tubes and intercooler
  • Prevents oil from lowering the effective octane of the incoming air/fuel mixture
  • Filter element and prefilter included

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.
