No two baskets are ever exactly the same. Variations in pattern and tone are not imperfections—but a reflection of natural materials and human touch. The tone of each piece is shaped by the season in which the palm is harvested, the drying and ageing process of the reeds, and subtle environmental conditions. Occasionally, fresh reeds may display a lighter, more straw-toned hue that deepens and settles over time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight.
Tone variation and colour matching- Due to the unique nature of each handmade piece and the natural variation in palm fibre tones, we do not recommend purchasing multiple individual sizes with the expectation of a perfect colour match.
