Vocas MB-216 Matte Box Kit for Cameras with 15mm LW Support

The Vocas MB-216 Matte Box Kit works with any camera with a 15mm LW support. It includes an MB-216 clip-on matte box, a 114mm flexible cuff adapter ring, and an adjustable 15mm rod adapter.

• MB-216 Clip-on Matte Box

  The MB-216 Clip-on Matte Box from Vocas  features a Quick-Lock mounting system that attaches directly to the front lens barrel of 114mm lenses. If required, this matte box can also be attached to the camera with a 15mm lightweight support or on top of 15mm rails. The matte box is also compatible with the optional Vocas Swing Away Bracket (0460-0600).

  The matte box accommodates 3 x 3" to 4 x 6" filters and works with most wide-angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. The Vocas MB-216 has one rotatable 4 x 4" filter tray and a place for one fixed 4 x 4" filter in the front end of the hood. It is wide enough to work on cameras with a wide-angle converter without vignetting.

• 114mm Flexible Cuff Adapter Ring for MB-215 & MB-255 Matte Boxes

  The 114mm Flexible Cuff Adapter Ring from Vocas snaps into Vocas MB-215 and MB-255 rod-mounted matte boxes, which feature a rear opening of 114mm. It serves as an anti-reflection donut for lenses from 50 to 110mm outer diameter. It utilizes a flexible fabric that allows for lens travel, so it is suitable for use with lenses that exhibit lens travel when focusing or zooming. The flexible fabric features a draw string and cord lock.

  Suitable for DSLR or other external focus lenses as well as internal focus lenses without lens travel.

  The flexible fabric provides an adjustable opening that you tighten to the lens to prevent light from behind the matte box flaring filters and degrading your image.

  The Adjustable 15mm Bars Adapter for MB-2XX/MB-3XX Matteboxes is a necessary component if you want to attach a Vocas MB-2XX series or MB-3XX series mattebox to a pair of standard 15mm rods. The height of the bars adapter is adjustable, to accommodate various lens diameters. The bars adapter accepts a pair of standard 15mm rods, and attaches to the mattebox assembly. It features a quick-lock mechanism for easy securing and releasing.
